I was just talking with someone how the handwriting is on the wall and sure enough the people I trained have been laid off. They are going to have to scramble right away looking for new jobs. There are a few out there but there is also a lot of competition. Two of us have been trying to help with links and names. I wonder what will happen. Nobody I talk to says have them call me right away as they used to in the past.
My boss used to get swamped with resumes when the word went out that there was an opening now I imagine anyone who has openings is getting buried in a blizzard of applicants.
I think that the volunteer opportunities may become scarce only because the work is less and heard this from one place where I volunteer.
